Why minerstat for Windows closes all CMD windows upon mining client restart?

Deprecated Since version 6.4 of minerstat for Windows, application won't close all CMD windows upon mining client restart anymore. You can get the latest version here.

Closing all CMD windows upon mining clients restart is not a glitch or a bug - the application was itentionally designed this way.

The main purpose of minerstat applications is to make sure the rigs on a mining farm are running efficiently and properly. Mining rigs usually run just mining clients and no other applications and while some mining clients don't close ports in a correct way and ports stay opened, this can cause instability. As soon as miner changes the mining client, the previously opened mining client is preventing the new mining client to properly report data to the minerstat dashboard. This is solved by closing all instances and opening just the one that miner wants to run.
