Why has GPU sometimes temperature 511°C?

If you see drivers reporting temperature 511 °C this isn't the actual temperature of your GPU. Drivers denote a driver error with such value of temperature. To solve the driver error you can do different things:

  • Adjust overclocking settings for the problematic card(s);
  • Re-check your hardware if all cables, risers, and cards are attached correctly.
