How to set up Litecoinpool mining?

Litecoinpool is one of the oldest Litecoin mining pools that offers PPS (pay per share) reward method. There is no fee on for mining LTC on Litecoinpool. Litecoinpool also allows merged mining of several altcoins with payout in LTC.

minerstat dashboard

You can set up mining at Litecoinpool on your minerstat dashboard if you are using any of the Scrypt miners. The list of supported hardware can be found on our hardware page and the list of all ASIC miners on our ASIC miners page.

Address editor

First, open address editor and add new tag (POOL:LTC) with one of the following stratum addresses:

  • stratum+tcp://litecoinpool.org:3333
  • stratum+tcp://litecoinpool.org:8080
  • stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:3333
  • stratum+tcp://us.litecoinpool.org:8080
  • stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:3333
  • stratum+tcp://us2.litecoinpool.org:8080
  • stratum+tcp://ltcpool5brio2gaj.onion:3333
  • stratum+tcp://ltcpool5brio2gaj.onion:8080

Next, save the tag (WALLET:LTCPOOL) with your Litecoinpool's username. It is very important to note that when mining on Litecoinpool, you need to identify with username.workername where your username can be saved as (WALLET:LTCPOOL) in your address editor and instead of fixed workername, you can use (WORKER) tag - but make sure that your worker has the same name on Litecoinpool and minerstat.

Worker's config

In the next step, navigate to your worker's config. The selected default mining client will be ASIC and once your ASIC connects the config will be loaded there. You can just replace the found pools and user values with the ones you have created in the previous step or you can use some of the following templates.

Before using the templates, make sure that the config is really compatible with your ASIC model and that the technical vales, such as frequencies are correct.
