How to set up Zergpool mining?

Zergpool is a multi-algo pool with multiple mining options:

  • You can mine to algorithm's stratum address and in this case Zergpool with automatically switch between different coins on their pool;
  • You can mine the coin directly.

You don't need to register any account to mine on Zergpool - you can just set up a stratum, wallet and the password parameter with the currency in which you want to be paid and you are ready to mine.

You can get paid in any currency that is supported on Zergpool, but it is recommended to select BTC as this is the only guaranteed payout. To set up a cryptocurrency you want to get paid in, you need to use password parameter, for example -p "c=BTC". The fee for mining on Zergpool is 0.5%.

minerstat dashboard

To set up mining at Zergpool on minerstat dashboard follow the next steps.

Address editor

First, open address editor and add new tag (POOL:ZERG-X16R) with the value of Zergpool's X16R stratum address:

  • stratum+tcp://x16r.mine.zergpool.com:3636

Next, save the tag (WALLET:BTC) with your BTC address that you will use on Zergpool.

Worker's config

In the next step, navigate to your worker's config. Select the default mining client for mining X16R algorithm. You can find the list here along with the current estimated profitability provided by Zergpool API.

  • TREX
  • CRYPTODREDGE
  • SGMINER-GM
  • SGMINER-AVERMORE
  • WILDRIG-MULTI
  • CCMINER-X16R
  • Z-ENEMY
  • CCMINER-TPRUVOT
  • CPUMINER-OPT

The default configs for selected mining client will be loaded. It is very important that you don't forget to set algorithm parmeter along with wallet and pool tags.

TREX example

{"pools":[{"user": "(WALLET:BTC).(WORKER)", "url": "(POOL:ZERG-X16R)", "pass": "c=BTC"}], "api-bind-http": "0.0.0.0:4068", "json-response": true, "retries": 3, "retry-pause": 5, "timeout": 500, "algo": "x16s", "intensity": 20, "log-path": "t-rex.log", "exit-on-cuda-error": true, "exit-on-connection-lost": false}

CRYPTODREDGE example

-a x16r -o (POOL:ZERG-X16R) -p c=BTC -u (WALLET:BTC).(WORKER)

Z-ENEMY example

-a x16r -o (POOL:ZRG-X16R) -u (WALLET:BTC).(WORKER) -p c=BTC

You can repeat the process for any other coin, algorithm, or mining client options, just make sure that:

  • You are using correct stratum addresses;
  • You are using correct ports;
  • You have chosen correct mining client for your set up (Windows/Linux and AMD/Nvidia);
  • You didn't forget the password parameter c=BTC;
  • You have checked if mining client requires algorithm parameter and you have correctly updated it.
