Sometimes it happens that Kaspersky adds mining clients as a false positive and prevents executing the files. In this guide, we will show you how to add minerstat and mining clients to the Kaspersky exclusions list.
First, open Kaspersky by looking it up in your search bar or in the task bar of your system.
When you have opened Kaspersky Control Panel window navigate to Exclusions list by first clicking Settings in the bottom left corner.
Then continue to Threats and exclusions.
Scroll down to find Manage exclusions.
Click on it and Exclusions setting window will open up.
Click [Add] to add new exclusion.
Click on the button Browse and select the files, folders, or file types you want to white-list.
If you select one folder, the exclusion will apply to all files and subfolders within this folder. In this step, select the minerstat folder, which typically is:
In Protection components select All components, select Status: Active and click Add. Then, in the Threats and exclusions settings window press OK and then Save.
