We currently support 1 fork of SGMiner: SGMINER-AVERMORE. It supports 3 different algorithms and is available for AMD cards on Linux (msOS) and can be used with minerstat for mining X16R, X16S, and Xevan algorithms.
If you want to use SGMiner outside minerstat, you can download it through official sources:
In this guide, we will show you how to mine RCL with SGMiner Avermore. If we missed any good fork of SGMiner on our list of supported mining clients, let us know and we will add it.
Open address editor and save the the pool and the wallet for mining RCL. In this case, we will save RCL pool under (POOL:RCL) tag and RCL wallet under (WALLET:RCL) tag.
Open worker's config and select SGMINER-AVERMORE as a default mining client.
Update the mining client's configuration so that it will be defined as:
(WORKER) tag will be automatically replaced with your worker's name, so you don't have to change it. As you can see SGMiner Avermore config also requiers some other parameters, so if you change the coin, don't forget to appropriately update the algorithm's name.
To start saving logs for SGMiner Avermore, change the parameter "debug-log":false
to "debug-log":true
in your mining configuration.
Save changes and wait for mining client to restart. You are now mining RCL with SGMiner Avermore.
