How to set up miniZ with minerstat?

In this guide we will show you how to set up miniZ on minerstat for mining ETC. The same procedure can be used for other coins and multi-algo pools.

1. Address editor

Open address editor and save the pool and wallet for mining ETC. In this case, we will save ETC pool under (POOL:ETC) tag and ETC wallet under (WALLET:ETC) tag.

2. Default mining client

Open worker's config and select MINIZ as a default mining client.

3. MINIZ config

Update the mining client's configuration so that it will be defined as:

--url (WALLET:ETC).(WORKER)@(POOL:ETC) --pass x --par etchash --pers auto

(WORKER) tag will be automatically replaced with your worker's name. miniZ is using --par parameter to define the algorithm you are mining.

4. Troubleshooting

To start saving logs for miniZ, add the parameter --log to your mining configuration.

5. Save changes

Save changes and wait for mining client to restart. You are now mining ETC with miniZ.
