How to mine Alephium (ALPH)?

In this guide we will show you how to set up ALPH mining with minerstat.

Pools

First, open the address editor and add a new tag (POOL:ALPH) which will hold the pool's stratum address for ALPH. We'll be using WoolyPooly pool in our example. There are several locations available, so choose one of the following stratum addresses:

  • pool.woolypooly.com:3106
  • pool.eu.woolypooly.com:3106
  • pool.us.woolypooly.com:3106
  • pool.ru.woolypooly.com:3106
  • pool.zh.woolypooly.com:3106
  • pool.sg.woolypooly.com:3106
  • pool.au.woolypooly.com:3106
  • pool.br.woolypooly.com:3106

Wallet

In the next step you need to save your wallet address to your address editor. Create new tag (WALLET:ALPH) under wallets with your ALPH wallet address. For example: 1D2PCqf1qaxVyqQXK7dTyQwYSJfo7agVX7EjxpVm5wv91

Worker's config

In the next step, navigate to your worker's config. Select a default mining client that you want to use for mining ALPH and then use the simple or advanced configuration.

Select mining client

Click on the default mining client's name, search for ALPH, and select preferred mining client. Mining clients that are grayed out are not available for your system and type of worker.

Simple config example

  • Coin: RVN
  • Pool: (POOL:ALPH)
  • Wallet: (WALLET:ALPH)
  • Password: x

BzMiner

To set up ALPH mining with BzMiner, you can use the following configuration:

-a alph -w (WALLET:ALPH)⁣ -p (POOL:ALPH)⁣ --pool_password x
