How can I start?

For mining with minerstat:

  • You need to own a mining hardware: GPU rig or ASIC machine;
  • You need to know which coin you want to mine;
  • You need to own a wallet address that you will use for mining on a pool you select.

Minerstat supports all major pools and dozens of different mining clients.

So, if you own at least one GPU mining rig or one ASIC machine you can start using minerstat monitoring and management system by registering a new account. This will create a new account that will allow you to test minerstat for free for 5 workers for 21 days.

After you have registered a new account, you can follow the steps described in our first minerstat mining tutorial or watch the introduction video.

Mining with GPU rigs

  1. Add a new worker on the workers page;
  2. You will see a button to download software with instructions on how to install it;
  3. Once you installed it, you will start mining to DEMO address;
  4. Change the DEMO address and add your pools and wallets in address editor;
  5. Go to worker's config to select default mining client and to update the client's configuration by using tags from address editor or by entering the config content directly;
  6. Save changes.
  7. When your rig is mining, you can explore all the other features that minerstat dashboard offers you.

ASICs

  1. Add a new worker on the workers page;
  2. You will see a button that will lead you to instructions on how to install ASIC Hub;
  3. Once software is installed your ASIC worker will show as online;
  4. When your ASIC is succesfully monitored, you can explore all the other features that minerstat dashboard offers you.
