How to set up Spoondolies ASIC?

You can monitor and manage Spoondolies ASICs on minerstat with ASIC Hub SSH or Non-SSH.

ASIC Hub (Non-SSH)

ASIC Hub (Non-SSH) can be used for mining monitoring and management of Spoondolies ASIC.

  • Installed on a separate computer (Linux, Mac, Raspberry Pi, or virtual machine on Windows), which works as a server and needs to be online all the time;
  • Only one install required for multiple machines;
  • Config change is applied without a reboot;
  • Requires uninstall only from one machine if you don't want to use it anymore.

Installation process

  1. Add new worker on minerstat dashboard.
  2. Open Linux, Mac, or Raspberry Pi computer and enter the following code to the terminal.
    Linux/Raspberry Pi: wget -O - https://minerstat.com/nonssh-install | bash
    Mac: curl -L -s https://minerstat.com/nonssh-install | bash -s
  3. Follow the steps in the wizard.
  4. ASIC should be online in few moments.
  5. To monitor and manage additional ASICs, you only need to add new workers to the dashboard.

ASIC Hub (SSH)

ASIC Hub (SSH) can be used for mining monitoring and management of Spoondolies ASIC.

  • Installed directly on ASIC;
  • Bulk install available from Windows, Linux, and Mac;
  • Config change is followed by a reboot;
  • Requires uninstall from each machine if you don't want to use it anymore.

Installation process

  1. Add new worker on minerstat dashboard.
  2. Use PuTTY or Termius to SSH login to your ASIC.
  3. Run the installation script with your access key and worker's name: cd /tmp && curl --insecure -H 'Cache-Control: no-cache' -O -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/minerstat/minerstat-asic-hub/master/install.sh && chmod 777 *.sh && sh install.sh ACCESS_KEY WORKER_NAME
  4. ASIC should be online in few moments.
  5. To monitor and manage additional ASICs, you need to install ASIC Hub on other machines as well or use bulk install scripts.

Worker's config

After ASIC connects to minerstat for the first time, the config will be loaded and you will be able to manage and monitor it through your minerstat dashboard.
