About Aurora Borealis Coin
Aurora Borealis Coin is an independent open-source proof-of-work blockchain mined with KAWPOW on GPUs, launched on 1 September 2026 with its own Core wallet, explorer, faucet and pool. Blocks target 60 seconds with a Dark Gravity Wave retarget every block; the subsidy starts at 900 ABRS and halves every 2,100,000 blocks, for a spendable supply capped at about 4.2 billion. Ten percent of that supply (420 million ABRS) is a consensus-enforced premine split between founder and treasury outputs at block 1.
