Terms of use
The rules for using minerstat.com, its widgets and its API. Last updated 2026-08-30.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
minerstat.com ("minerstat", "we") provides crypto-mining market data: coin network statistics, hardware benchmarks, pool information, profitability estimates, tools, embeddable widgets and an HTTP API. These terms govern every use of the website, the widgets and the API, whether or not you have an account.
By using the service you accept these terms. If you use the API on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that company.
2. The service, as-is
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Data is collected from public blockchains, pools, markets and community benchmarks; it can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. We continuously cross-check sources, but you use every number at your own risk.
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We aim to announce material changes on the site or by email for account holders.
3. No financial advice
Profitability figures are estimates built from live but imperfect data: prices move, network conditions change, hardware varies, electricity costs differ. Nothing on this site is investment, financial, legal or tax advice. Verify independently before spending money, and never invest more than you can afford to lose.
4. Accounts
Sign-in is passwordless: a magic link sent to your email. You are responsible for the security of that mailbox and for everything done through your session. Tell us immediately if you believe your account is compromised.
You can delete your account at any time from the account page; deletion is immediate and removes your watchlist, alerts, preferences, sessions and API keys.
We may suspend or close accounts used for abuse, fraud, scraping beyond fair use, or any breach of these terms.
5. API licence and plans
Every data endpoint requires an API key. Keys are personal: do not share, publish or resell access. You may create separate keys per application (up to 3 active keys).
Free plan: evaluation and small personal projects; responses are truncated and the monthly quota is limited. Developer plan: personal and non-commercial use only. Enterprise plan: commercial use, meaning any use inside a product, service or business activity that generates revenue or commercial advantage.
Quotas, per-response caps and fair-use rate limits are documented in the developer portal and may evolve; we announce reductions in advance to affected plans. We may throttle or revoke keys that abuse the service or attempt to circumvent limits.
The data you retrieve stays our (or our sources') property. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it inside your application. Bulk redistribution of the dataset, or building a competing data service from it, is not allowed on any plan without a written agreement.
6. Attribution
If you display Minerstat data publicly, including through the embeddable widgets, keep the Minerstat attribution and link visible and unaltered. The widgets must not be modified to remove the Minerstat logo or its link.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to: disrupt or overload the service; probe or breach its security; access it with automated tools beyond the documented API and fair use; misrepresent your identity to us; use the service for unlawful activity; or resell access without an agreement.
8. Billing
Paid API plans are monthly subscriptions processed by Stripe; we never see your card details. Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You can switch plans (prorated by Stripe) or cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable.
Prices may change; changes apply from your next billing cycle and are announced in advance.
9. Intellectual property
The Minerstat name, logo, site design and software are protected. Brand assets may be used according to the guidelines on the branding page. Third-party names and logos (coins, pools, hardware manufacturers) belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Minerstat is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, or losses resulting from decisions made on the basis of the data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we give notice on the site (and by email for paid accounts) at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means acceptance.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms: use the contact page. Legal notices can be sent through the same channel.
