How to mine Toncoin (TON)?

In this guide we will show you how to set up TON mining with minerstat.

Pools

First, open the address editor and add a new tag (POOL:TON) which will hold the pool's stratum address for Toncoin. We'll be using Whales pool in our example.

Most pools require registration on the pool to mine TON, often done through a telegram bot. With Whales pool, the bot is then used to withdraw the mined coins as well, the bot is @WhalesPoolBot

Wallet

In the next step you need to save your wallet address to your address editor. Create new tag (WALLET:TON) under wallets with your TON wallet address. For example: EQDuyqmPDyzuMFalwc_JqaaE_Gh0qiGsQ576FKPl7FiaYOYP

Worker's config

In the next step, navigate to your worker's config. Select a default mining client that you want to use for mining TON and then use the simple or advanced configuration.

Select mining client

Click on the default mining client's name, search for TON, and select preferred mining client. Mining clients that are grayed out are not available for your system and type of worker.

Simple config example

  • Coin: TON
  • Pool: (POOL:TON)
  • Wallet: (WALLET:TON)
  • Password: x

lolMiner

To set up TON mining with lolMiner, you can use the following configuration:

{ "MINERSTAT" : { "DEVICES" : "AUTO", "APIPORT" : 3333, "ALGO" : "TON", "POOLS" : [ {"POOL" : "(POOL:TON)", "PORT" : "(AUTO)", "USER" : "(WALLET:TON)", "PASS" : "x"} ] } }
Did you know? TON performance is mainly dependent on the core clock of the hardware, so memory clock can be tuned down while core clock raised.
