How can I set up configurations for my mining rigs?
Under "Mining" you will find Worker config option. This option will allow you to set up a custom configuration for either one of your workers or multiple selected workers and/or selected group/s. You will be able to select default miner, enable CPU mining, enable profit switch, and setup configurations for specific mining software.
When you select a certain default mining client, a pre-defined config will be loaded. Before you click save, always check the following:
- Did you set the correct pool in the client's config? You can click on the tag and select the pool you have defined in the address editor from the drop-down. Make sure that the port is also saved in the tag or that you have added the port number where it belongs.
- Did you set the correct wallet in the client's config? You can click on the tag and select the wallet you have defined in the address editor from the drop-down. Make sure that you have checked if the pool requires identification in form of a wallet, username, or maybe wallet and worker's name. If the config is not defined as the pool requires, the rig might not start mining.
- Did you check if there are some other parameters in the config, such as algorithm's or coin's denotation? If yes, make sure to enter the correct values - you will most often found them on the Bitcointalk thread of the mining client.
If you are using tags, the tag that is undefined in address editor will be colored in red. If you have red tags in your config, define the tag in address editor or replace the tag with some other option.
